Is fishing allowed in Cape Paterson?

Cape Paterson offers a number of excellent fishing spots such as Undertow Bay for mullet and salmon. The rocks around the main bay beach produce large whiting and pinky snapper. Cape’s Second Surf offers great scores of mullet but for safety avoid the surfing area. The taking of reef fish such as parrot fish, bluenose wrasse and leather jackets is not permitted.

All fishing must adhear to the rules outlined by the local fishing authority.
